As Treasurer, Ava oversees the organization's financial stewardship while helping guide strategic planning, fundraising, communications, website development, grants, and organizational growth.

She believes that transparency, accountability, and thoughtful leadership are essential to building an organization that participants, volunteers, donors, and community partners can trust for years to come.

Ava grew up with horses and has had them as a constant presence throughout her life. Decades of hands-on experience have given her a strong foundation in equine care, behavior, and horsemanship. That lifelong connection allows her to contribute not only to the administrative side of SBE, but also to the care and understanding of the horses at the heart of its mission.
